Brainerd, Minnesota (Sunday, August 19, 2012) - Vance & Hines Screamin’ Eagle Harley-Davidson rider Eddie Krawiec remained undefeated in Pro Stock Motorcycle, winning his sixth victory this season. Krawiec defeated Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., who fouled at the start.
“He jumped out in front of me, and at first, I thought I was late but about 300 feet out, I looked up and saw that my win light was on,” Krawiec said. “I realized that he red-lighted.”
Krawiec qualified 4th with a 6.909 behind teammate Andrew Hines’ 6.887 and Arana’s best 6.884.
In Sunday’s round 1 eliminations Krawiec took the win light against Shawn Gann’s red light. Krawiec beat Karen Stoffer with a 6.876 194.94mph run in the 2nd round. 3rd round action saw Krawiec over rider John Hall with a decisive pass of 6.885 at 194.49 mph, nearly 10 Mph faster than Hall.
Krawiec stretches his points lead to 962 over teammate Andrew Hines’ 856.
