If you’re in the Southern California area this weekend, come check out the Born Free Vintage Chopper and Classic Motorcycle Show at the Oak Canyon Ranch in Silverado. Vance & Hines will have on display the “Double Honda” Top Gas Drag Bike raced by Terry Vance and Byron Hines back in 1975.
Built by Byron Hines using two CB750 engines bored and stroked to 1100cc a piece, Terry Vance piloted this engineering marvel to a staggering 22 victories out of 23 races entered. It was also renowned for being the first gas bike to run an 8-second ET in the quarter mile.
In addition, Vance & Hines will be previewing some of its upcoming exhaust and intake products for the recently released Harley-Davidson Street 500 and 750.
The Born Free Show runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.3
